Community Housing Report

In 2022, CFGV worked with community partners to examine the housing challenges our community is facing and establish shared understanding as a baseline from which local municipalities, nonprofits, and other community-based organizations can work toward solutions. The problem is complex, and no one entity or idea will provide the solution. With the 2022 Community Housing Report as a starting point, individuals and organizations up and down the Gunnison Valley have formed a Housing Action Team that is working on a Regional Housing Strategy. Because some of the challenges are unique or more acute at one end of the Valley or the other, collaborative effort toward shared solutions requires tradeoffs and compromise.
