Steve Bolton retired in 2019 after serving as the Executive Director for the Association of Donor Recruitment Professionals, an international nonprofit in the blood banking industry. Previously, Steve worked many years for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center in Houston, Texas managing a team in Donor Development, Community Relations and Marketing. A native of Norman, Oklahoma, he studied at the University of Oklahoma and graduated with honors from the University of Houston with a degree in Business Administration.
Steve and his partner, Bob Valentine first purchased a home in Mt. Crested Butte in 2014 and made this their primary residence in 2016. He has a long history of volunteer work, serving on several nonprofit and professional boards over the years. Steve has most recently volunteered with Adaptive Sports Center in Crested Butte on the major donor and CB Open committees and was a board member and treasurer for Project Hope of Gunnison Valley.
