Nancy Ruehle is a transplanted Gunnisonite, arriving from the Black Hills of South Dakota in 1964. Together with her late husband, Ray, they raised three sons while building their home, raising bees, gardening, being active in Boy Scouts, flying their Piper J-3 Cub, and enjoying the wonders of living in the Gunnison Country. She worked in the early days of CFGV and for 11 years as Administrative Assistant, retiring in 2016. Nancy says, “It’s a privilege to now serve on the Advisory Board and continue to support the Foundation in its many-faceted work of building, advocacy and sustaining our beautiful community.”
