Mike and his wife, Kathy, first came to the Gunnison Valley in 2001 and instantly fell in love with the area. They bought a small home in Crested Butte in 2005, and for the next 18 years, spent as much time as possible there with their daughter, Jordan, and their son, Zach. Recently, they made the decision to become full-time Crested Butte residents and are excited about this new chapter in their lives.
Mike has a degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and received an MBA from the University of Texas in 1992. He initially worked for Fidelity Investments for five years as an Investment Advisor. After graduate school, he began a 25-year career with Apple where he held numerous positions including leader of Apple’s customer support contact centers and director of AppleCare Global Business Development. In that role, he led a large team that delivered over $7 billion in annual revenue and consistently earned the highest industry awards for customer satisfaction.
Mike retired from Apple in 2019 and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, fishing and everything else the Gunnison Valley has to offer.
