Alicia Corliss has been with CFGV since April of 2019. With extensive experience in the nonprofit and public sectors, Alicia has been an invaluable resource for community-building organizations of all kinds in the Gunnison Valley for the last five and a half years in her role as the Director of Operations.

This fall, we expanded Alicia’s job title and description to make her the Director of Operations & Programs. This formalizes the informal support she has offered nonprofits for years. She will take the lead on our nonprofit programming, from the STEP Program to planning and executing our slate of nonprofit events and workshops, while continuing to guide the operations of CFGV

Jessica Wurtz

Director of Philanthropy

Jessica Wurtz joined the CFGV team in May of 2023. As the Director of Philanthropy, she serves as the point person bringing donors and nonprofits together to build a thriving Gunnison Valley. If you have a vision for what you want your philanthropy to accomplish in the Gunnison Valley, Jessica is the person to help you reach that vision. She keeps a pulse on current giving opportunities in the community and can provide tailored guidance on how you can invest your philanthropic dollars strategically to build a brighter future.

Laurel spearheads email newsletters (sign up here), social media, public relations, and most of our other communications pieces with the help of some talented designers and vendors. She is always seeking inspiring and engaging stories about the impact of community-builders in the Gunnison Valley: the volunteers, board members, donors, staff members and clients who collectively lead, shape, and support our nonprofit sector.
