The poem was unveiled at the Here for Good Community Celebration on August 6, 2025.

Woven into the fabric of the community,
A cornerstone, a base, a safety net—
Deeply embedded,
Providing trusted, inclusive space
For learning, inspiration, and connection.
We work with the community, not for it.
Uniting diverse stakeholders,
Convening partners to create effective solutions,
Identifying creative, collaborative strategies,
Shifting power, building leadership,
To create long-term systems change.
We build a life where all can thrive.
We grow our own,
Foster confidence, teamwork, and perseverance,
Teach how to contribute to something greater than oneself.
We champion well-being,
Offer a place where people feel comfortable,
And seen.
Through collaboration and service,
We cultivate future leaders,
Reduce barriers, spark dialogue,
And connect people to community resources.
We foster a culture where inclusion, visibility,
And empowerment are deeply woven
Into the fabric of everyday life.
We help people find their voice,
Amplify it,
Provide access to new stories, diverse perspectives—
Put a face to stereotypes to eliminate them.
We create bonds across difference,
Bring together diverse groups to tackle shared objectives,
Strengthen the social, environmental, and economic fabric
Of this place we call home.
We reassure people they are not alone.
We meet them where they are.
We inspire a more inclusive, compassionate, connected community.
We make sure everyone has a seat at the table.
We empower residents to share their stories,
To take part in local discourse,
To step up with grace and compassion.
We build trust.
We shift perspectives.
We spark change.
We offer visibility, voice, and meaningful participation.
We connect and build community in a memorable way,
Creating a ripple effect of well-being.
Together, we’re
Exciting, motivating, inspiring,
Bolstering the local economy,
Retaining the workforce essential for success,
Providing safe, stable housing,
Supporting individual empowerment,
Ensuring this community remains
A resilient and inclusive place for all.
This is how we build
A better, more sustainable future—
This is how we weave
A vibrant, more connected community—
Not just for some,
But for all of us.
