At the Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley, we are dedicated to making a lasting impact in our community. Through our strategic grantmaking and support for local nonprofits, we strive to create a brighter future for all residents. Join us in building a stronger, more vibrant Gunnison Valley for generations to come.
We are very excited to present the Gunnison Valley Giving Connection! This project was created in response to both a need we see in the community as well as recognition from CFGV staff, board, and committee members that a more flexible way for the Community Foundation to facilitate funding support for our nonprofits is beneficial for the Valley.
The Giving Connection offers local nonprofits and other organizations the ability to crowdsource funding for projects through their networks, as well as CFGV’s audience.
We invite you to donate to Gunnison Valley Giving Connection featured projects, each of which is uniquely contributing to the Valley’s well-being.

The Crested Butte Senior Center Project is an example of one of our Giving Connection Projects. They plan to offer a variety of programs to fit the needs of many of the 55 and older citizens in the valley from games, to outdoor recreation, arts and crafts, educational offerings, and social events.
