Transparency – A Foundation Value

The Board and Staff of the Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley (CFGV) are committed to being open and honest with one another, the community, donors and Foundation grantees. We encourage the highest standards of conduct and ethics in all our work and have met National Standards for Community Foundations, a designation given by the Council on Foundations to those organizations who have met the high standards of a rigorous review by the Council ant their peers.

You are welcome to come to the office to read our Articles of Incorporation, our Bylaws and to review our audits, our 990 tax returns, and our current policies. Just call and make an appointment!

Our investment portfolio is held at Fidelity Investments. The Foundation’s Investment Committee meets quarterly. If you would like to attend a meeting, know who serves on the committee in any given year or meet with one of the committee’s members, please call the office and staff will facilitate your request: 970-641-8837.
