Chris Dickey is a fourth generation Colorado native who’s called the Gunnison Valley home since the late ‘80s. Last summer he “retired” from a 28-year career in community journalism, the last 15 of which were spent as the owner, editor and publisher of the Gunnison Country Times. He and his wife, Kirsten, remain active in the local business community, owning and operating OffCenter Designs (a screen printing and embroidery shop), a seasonal ice cream stand and other entrepreneurial endeavors. They have two grown children: Madeline and Spencer.
