Aaron J. Huckstep (“Huck”) served two terms as Mayor of the Town of Crested Butte, Colorado, from November 2011 to November 2015. During his tenure, he worked diligently to strengthen relationships throughout the local communities and to proactively address issues facing the Town. Huck is a past Board President of the Colorado Association of Ski Towns and also served as the Chairperson of Crested Butte’s local organizing committee for the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in 2011, 2012 and 2014. In addition to his public service commitments, Huck’s professional career is extensive. He practiced as a CPA until 2003, when he turned his focus to the practice of law. His practice serves clients throughout Colorado on a wide variety of disciplines including business, real estate and land use matters. Personally, Huck is an avid mountain biker and skier, and enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains in every season.
