Rob Strickland has lived in Gunnison County since 1992. First in Crested Butte until 2001 and currently in Gunnison. Rob has a BS in Marketing from Western State College, and owns and operates Midnight Marketing Solutions. Raising a family with his wife Bonnie, he’s been active in his children’s classroom and in their interests. Rob believes in the fortitude of community and is honored to serve the Community Foundation to help support the mission and values of the CFGV to ultimately better serve the community as a whole.
Rob worked for the Gunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association (GCBTA) as the Marketing Coordinator for 7 years and had a great experience learning about the benefits of a valley wide approach to marketing, the intricacies of up valley/down valley issues, and still maintains relationships with many of the hospitality business owners in the Valley. Since 2010 Rob has served the Community Foundation in a number of roles, including the CFGV Communications Committee and the Gunnison Valley Wellness Guide initiative.
