A ’77 alumni of Western State College in Gunnison, Jim returned to the area after a successful career in public administration. He worked in banking and real estate in the Gunnison Valley until retirement. Jim has four children and two stepchildren, all of whom are Gunnison High School graduates. Jim has served on the Western Colorado University Foundation board, the Gunnison Arts Center board, and the local Realtor Association board. Jim and his wife, Kathy, cherish living in the Gunnison Valley and make the most of their time enjoying the mountain scenery and recreation close to home. Traveling is another favorite pastime, but the road always leads back to the beautiful Gunnison Country.
