Roger is the retired Chairman and CEO of Ultramar Diamond Shamrock Corporation. Other Directorships include Tandy Brands Accessories , Inc.; National Advisory Council Boy Scouts of America; Texas Lutheran University; Development Board of University of Texas at San Antonio; the Southwest Research Institute; United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County (Trustee). Roger is also a former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and former Chair of the United Way of San Antonio Area. An avid hunter, Roger lives right on the banks of the Gunnison River and enjoys the wildlife in his yard.
